Internet Archive

The Internet Archive, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, is building a digital library of Internet sites and other cultural artifacts in digital form. Like a paper library, they provide free access to researchers, historians, scholars, the print disabled, and the general public.
Begun in 1996 to archive the Internet itself, the Internet Archive now has 20+ years of web history accessible through the Wayback Machine. As the web archive grew, so did the commitment to providing digital versions of other published works.

An easy-to-use interface allows searching by name, date range, or text such as institutional name, social affiliation(s), geographic location(s), philanthropic activities, etc…
