Black Migrations: from Africa to Alameda

The Alameda Free Library is proud to present a discussion, in honor of Black History Month, with Rasheed Shabazz, local historian, on the topic: Black Migrations: from Africa to Alameda. Rasheed will be discussing 20th century Black migration from Africa to Alameda and how Black people have moved within Alameda and how others have removed from Alameda during the 1990s. The program will occur on Tuesday. February 12, 2019 from 6:00 PM-7:30 PM. No registration to the event is necessary. Everyone is welcome.
