Poet Laureate Kimi Sugioka at the Alameda Free Library

Poetry Reading Kimi Sugioka DO NOT EDIT (Poster).jpg

The Alameda Free Library invites you to a reading of poetry in celebration of this year's National Poetry Month. Alameda Poet Laureate Kimi Sugioka will present poems that reflect different aspects of her experience as a teacher, mother, and activist, as well as work that reflects her perceptions of the world. The event will be hosted by the Alameda Free Library via Zoom. After the reading, we will have time for a brief Q&A should you have any questions for the author.

Please join us on April 16th at 5pm PST on Zoom, if you'd like to participate. We look forward to seeing you.

You can contact the library at refdesk@alamedaca.gov  or 510-747-7713 with any questions you may have.

For more information about library programs, please visit www.alamedafree.org/Events-directory/Calendar or contact the Main Library at 510-747-7740 during opening hours.
