The Alameda Free Library is pleased to present a workshop in January 2020 covering a very important factor of basic computing, file management and organization. This workshop will consist of hands-on experience moving files on the lab computers, as well as an introduction to the Windows 10 operating system. This session will be held on Wednesday, January 15th, 2020 from 6:00-7:30pm. We’ll cover the basics of file management, creating/naming folders and files, moving them, as well as finding them on our computers.  The session will be in a lecture/open question format, and based on the lab computers, which have recently been updated to the Windows 10 operating system. Feel free to bring in your personal computers to the workshop.

Please join us. Registration is requested as there are limited spots in the computer lab. You may register for this event by stopping by the Circulation Desk and signing up or contacting Trina in the computer lab.
