Library Closed

COVID news.jpg

Library Patrons,

We appreciate your patience and flexibility during these rapidly changing times.  In adherence with the State of California and the City of Alameda's social distancing efforts we decided to make the difficult decision to close all three Alameda Free Library locations to the public effective Monday, March 16, 2020.

Loan Periods and Hold Requests

The library is currently working on extending the loan periods on borrowed library materials during the emergency closure.  The book drops will remain open until further notice, but you are encouraged to keep Library materials until the library reopens.

Items currently on hold will be extended to allow you to pick them up after the Library has reopened.
