Connect Code

The Connect Code

The Connect Code is a digital library card for high school students at Alameda High School and Encinal High School. Students in the 9th-12th grade can access digital library resources.

Databases, Overdrive, Flipster, Tutor.com

What should I use the Connect Code for?
Use your Connect Code to do research, download free e-books, e-audiobooks, & e-magazines, use the library's computers, and get research assistance. Contact the Reference Desk for help searching databases.

I already have a library card. How is the Connect Code different?
The Connect Code is not a physical card and can only be used to access online resources (databases, Overdrive, Flipster, etc.) and for computer use at the library. You cannot check out physical items with the Connect Code. Please keep & continue to use your regular library card to check out books; you can use either your Connect Code & your library card to access digital resources.

Can I still get a full service library card?
Yes, you can still apply for a full service library card at any library location. Please contact the Circulation Desk for more information.
