Hands-On Neuroscience for Young Learners
Join the Main Library for Women’s History and Empowerment Month!
Scientific Adventure for Girls will be hosting a Hands-On Neuroscience for Young Learners on Saturday, March 7th from 2:00-3:30pm in the Stafford Room.
Spark curiosity about the brain with our interactive neuroscience program designed for TK-6th grade! Students will create life-size nervous systems, learn about amazing women scientists, create a model of a spine, and discover how their brain and senses work through taste tests and matching games. Each activity combines creative activities with age-appropriate science concepts, making complex topics accessible and fun. Fun for the whole family.
If you need accessibility accommodations to participate, information translated or in other formats, please contact ada@alamedaca.gov or fill out our ADA Request Form at least five (5) working days before the event.
