How to Place a Hold

  1. Log into your account, and search for the materials that you'd like to request.

  2. In our example, I'll search for The Night Manager, by John Le Carré.

3. Here are the results. I see that there are multiple formats  available through our collection, including an eBook, and DVD. I want the physical, hardcover book. I can use the left sidebar to filter the results to only show physical 'Books'. In this case, we want the third option, which is showing as currently on the shelf at the Main Library.

4. Click "request any edition" to activate your hold. Confirm the location that you'd like to pick up your item from.

  1. Confirm the details of your hold and how you'll be notified.

  2. If you'd like, you can view the details of your hold on your account portal.
