Henna Art Workshop for Teens*

Join us as local Oakland artist Rachel Palacios speaks about the art of henna and practice making your own designs. You will also receive your own henna tattoo design from Rachel.

This program will be held on Saturday, October 25, from 2:00 to 3:00 PM in the Stafford Room at the Main Library.

By registering, you acknowledge that henna can last anywhere from one to three weeks. You also confirm that you have discussed appropriate symbols and placement for the temporary design with your guardian.

Registration is required due to limited space availability (25 spots available). Spots will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration opens September 23, 2025 — please check back then to sign up.

*This program is for teens in the 7th -12th grade.
