Peeps Dioramas 2024

The Alameda Free Library is giving peep-le of all ages an excuse to play with their food!

Create a diorama using the Peeps marshmallows as the characters. You are free to choose any family-friendly book, movie, television show, or any other theme of your choice. Utilize recycled materials, magazines, paint, and other craft supplies to craft your Peeps-terpiece

Rules:

*All entries must follow the guidelines to be eligible for the Peeple’s Choice Award.*

1. Diorama must include 1 or more Peeps.
2. Any other food or candy, besides Peeps, are not allowed in diorama.
3. Entries must be family friendly.
4. Entries must have been constructed in 2024.
5. Entry base must be no larger than a shoebox and must be freestanding.
6. Entries must be dropped off at the Main Library or photos must be submitted to refdesk@alamedaca.gov by Monday, April 15^th .Make sure to include the title of your diorama and your first name. The Peeple’s Choice Award Winner will be announced after voting ends.
7. Teamwork welcome! This is fun for the whole family, all ages are invited to participate.
8. Physical entries must be picked up by Monday, May 6^th or they will be discarded.

Diorama Kit Pickup

• While supplies last, you can pick up a Peeps Diorama Kit from the Main Library on Thursday, April 4. Kits are available at the Reference Desk on the 2nd Floor of the Main Library. The kit includes a few craft supplies to help get you started on designing a peep-tastic diorama.
• One kit per person/group
• Kits are not required to participate; You can enter the contest using your own craft supplies
• Peeps in the kit are not edible!
  
  

Submission Guidelines

• Drop off your Peeps Diorama at the Reference Desk at the Main Library or submit a photo of your Peeps Diorama to refdesk@alamedaca.gov by Monday, April 15th.
• Please make sure to include the title of your diorama and your first name
  
  

Voting:

1. Online voting will be from Thursday, April 18th to Wednesday, April 24th, and will take place on the library's website. Please click here to vote.
2. One vote per person.
3. The Peeple's Choice Award Winner will be announced on Saturday, April 27th.
