Come attend a presentation about artist David Park, the American painter who pioneered the Bay Area Figurative Art Movement, which also included influential artists Richard Diebenkorn and Elmer Bischoff. This movement introduced a new approach to figuration and expression in painting during the 1950s and 1960s.
Presented by Friends of the Alameda Free Library in partnership with the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.
