The Beatles: ‘Abbey Road’
Join us for a very entertaining 60 minute illustrated lecture presented by Dulais Rhys. Dulais discusses this final - but controversial - Beatles album, the crucial role that ‘5th Beatle’, George Martin, had in its creation and how the ‘joined-up’ song fragments of the second side formed a musical gem.
Born in Wales, Dulais Rhys has been a professional musician for over 30 years and is currently based in Billings, Montana. Rhys received his Bachelors, Masters and Doctorate degrees from the University of Wales. He also studied composition and conducting at the Peabody Conservatory of Music in Baltimore, Maryland.
